Kinect sensorMultitouch has wowed us with the capabilities it carries. Now it is the turn of motion-tracking camera systems. Microsoft Kinect has wowed us with the superior gaming experience.

Microsoft has sold 8 million Kinect units for Xbox 360 in the previous year; figures will surely increase this year. I wonder what will happen when we combine the motion sensor technology with the computing devices. We have already seen some Kinect hacks, which promise Kinect to be a great device for computing.

Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer in his interview with BBC has hinted that Microsoft will formally support PC use of the Kinect motion controller in the near future. So the day is not far when you will be moving files from one folder to another with your hand gestures (as shown in Mission Impossible). Thank you Microsoft for making our lives better.
